2020 Chevy Tahoe Release Date and Price

Recently, we’ve got some rumors that the new 2020 Chevy Tahoe is going to hit the market. But, the fifth-generation of all-new Chevrolet Tahoe will be launched as 2021 model year instead of 2020 model year as we previously believed. That means the current model will only get some minor updates.

2020 seems to be another final model for the fourth-generation of Tahoe since all-new Tahoe is supposed to be released as 2021 model year. But, we can still expect some changes and updates on the current 2020 model. They may include exterior and finishes.

There are no updates to the mechanical side of the model line of this full-size SUV. There might be no changes or updates to the interior. Instead, there will be some changes to the exterior and finishes. For the details, let’s check out this following information.

On the other hand, the version which comes with a 6.2L V8 engine will offer 10-speed automated gear and produce 420 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Then, the fuel delivery for both versions is the same. It will be direct injection with active fuel management.

Just like other fourth-generation units of the current Tahoe, the new 2020 Chevy Tahoe will be based on the GM K2 platform. This platform is also used by 2020 GMC Yukon, 2020 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2020 Cadillac Escalade. This is the same standard architecture employed on 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500.
