2020 Hyundai Tucson Active X Review and Specs Data

2020 Hyundai Tucson becomes the next vehicle to receive its updates. This vehicle is going to hit the market with a lot of powerful competitors. It’s no secret that the segment of this car is the toughest one on the U.S. market. So, it should be perfect to stand out.

It has been confirmed that the upcoming Tucson is going to receive some upgrades. Among the number of updates available, the inclusion of Hyundai’s SmartSense package is becoming the most notable ones. More interestingly, this safety feature is going to standard in the Active and ActiveX versions.

This safety upgrades include a few abilities like autonomous emergency braking, driver attention warning, lane-keep assist, and forward-collision warning. However, these features will only be available for a version with an automatic gearbox. And the six-speed manual versions will receive a lane-keep assist only.

2020 Hyundai Tucson Updates

There are some other updates to be expected. For instance, the camera-based system is available on Active and ActiveX versions. Unfortunately, this system is lacking in the pedestrian detection function. It also provides rear parking sensors, leather-appointed gearshift and steering wheel, one-touch up/down the window, and 17-inch alloys.

This next generation of Tucson still uses a 2.0L 4-cyl engine which offers 161 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of power torque. This engine can be paired with either front or optional AWD.  But, despite the engine choice, fuel consumption remains the same. So, it isn’t really an issue.

As promised by the Hyundai Design Center, the next-generation Tucson could be more electrifying. But, there’s no detail related to what makes this car so striking in term of its design.

It is said that each future model of Hyundai will receive a distinct look. And the upcoming Tucson is no exception. So, let’s wait for another unveils about this car.

2020 Hyundai Tucson Prices and Lease Deals

The arrival date for the upcoming Tucson isn’t obvious yet. We don’t even found any spy shots of the car yet. It can suggest that the unveiling of the next-gen Tucson is still a while from now. But, since it has received a major cabin refresh, we shouldn’t expect more.

Lease deals

For the pricing, the next-gen Hyundai Tucson is probably going to cost $29,290 for the base Active version. Since this vehicle hasn’t been available on the market at the time of writing, there is no lease deal available yet. But, it’s expected to lease from $229 per month.

In conclusion, the 2020 Tucson is a nice car which is worth waiting for. It is supposed to come with safety upgrades and new styling. But, we haven’t known when this car is going to hit the market. So, let’s wait for further detail about the upcoming 2020 Hyundai Tucson.
