Powertrain
Under the hood, there can be two options. The entry-level models may come with a 2.0L Skyactiv-G inline-four engine which can produce 155 horsepower. On the other hand, the higher-end trims may be powered by the new Skyactiv-X compression-ignition engine. It’s expected to generate 190 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque.
This supercharged 2.0L inline-four engine is reported to be up to 30% more fuel-efficient compared to the one that comes with the previous technology. Despite the engine options, all the 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback are going to be available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic gearbox.

2020 Mazda 3 Interior
The All-New Mazda 3 with Kodo design carries a minimalist concept. all elements in the cockpit are made with simple and sporty. The interior of both the hatchback and the sedan are made of leather and fabric, available in Pure White leather exclusive only for Mazda 3 sedans, while the hatchback series gets burgundy leather as its exclusive interior color.
2020 Mazda 3 Release Date & Price
This upcoming Mazda 3 will be launched to the market with several competitors like Chevy Cruze, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, Ford Focus, Subaru Impreza, Nissan Sentra, and some others. It is expected to go on sale in 2019, but there has been no official statement published yet.
The base price of the base version is reported to start at $21,895 for the one that comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Then, the completely loaded hatchback with AWD can cost around $30,000. The lease may start at $249 per month for the 35-month lease with $0 down and security deposit.
